What should I bring on the charter? You will want to bring what ever
you are going to eat and drink, Sun block, Jacket if it is cold out, Camera, Sun glasses, hat, Sneakers with white or light colored soles.
Please do not bring black soled shoes on the boat. They leave scuff marks
which are very difficult to remove.
Can I have my fish mounted? Yes all of are captains are agents for Grey’s Taxidermy and can give you the cost on mounting your catch.
Do I have to fillet my own fish? No the captain and crew will fillet your fish and bag it for your cooler.
Can you ship our fish back to our town? Yes we can do this. We can also have it smoked and shipped to you. Or make it into fish spread and shipped to you.
Do I have to kill the fish to have it mounted? NO. The captain can take measurements of your fish and release it. This will allow the fish to live and at the same time providing you with a trophy of your catch.
We will provide coolers for your food, drinks and catch. You do not
need to bring your own cooler on the boat. However you may wish to bring a cooler for your fillets to bring home.
No flip flops! We recommend you do not where flip flops due to fish with sharp spines and teeth that may be laying on the deck.
Will my phone work out on the boat? Your on vacation leave it at the hotel!
What time should we be there? If your charter starts at 8am be there
about 5 minutes earlier. If you show up an hour early you will just be sitting there waiting.
Please do not get on the boat until the captain ask you to. The boat may not
be ready and you will only slow down the process if you are in the way.
Can I bring my own pole? You can bring your own pole but you do not
need to as we will have all the poles, Tackle, Bait and everything else you will need for fishing.
How much do we tip the crew? Tip your the same as you would a waiter 15% to 20%.
Should I wear a life jacket? We do not require that you where life jackets on our boats but if it makes you feel more comfortable then you are more than welcome to. Ask the captain for one of our low profile life jackets as they are easier to move around in.
Will we get a refund of our deposit if we cancel our trip? You must
cancel your trip at least 48 hours in advance to get a refund of your deposit.
